As guests enter the building of the 3 star Hotel Palazzo
Giaracá on Siracusa’s island city centre
of Ortigia, it’s immediately obvious that there
is something special about its unique design. Constructed
in 1892 and designed by the famed architect Carlo Sada,
the public area of this value for money budget Siracusa
3 star hotel is surrounded by a winding circular stairway
that reaches the height of the building, illuminated
by a stained glass skylight.
For
guests with mobility issues there’s no need to
worry - we also have a lift! Also in the public areas
of the Hotel Giaracá guests will find our bar
and tea-room, where breakfast is also served for an
additional supplement on top of the room rate. The bar
and tea room provide a more sociable alternative to
the mini bar in each private guest room
and offer a useful and more informal alternative to
our meeting room which can also be rented for small
events.
Wireless internet is available for a fee throughout
the hotel and the entire property is air conditioned,
aiding the typical Mediterranean marble and stonework
in keeping the hotel a fresh and beckoning respite from
the summer heat. For those into heat, there’s
a solarium too!
This charming building is adorned with period furniture
throughout the public areas, making it almost palatial.
