Welcome
to Hotel Palazzo Giaraca Siracusa
Hotel Palazzo Giaraca (pronounced ‘Jara-ka’)
occupies a historical building that has undergone massive
restoration to make it a spacious, luxurious and overall,
unique accommodation in the historical island centre
of Siracusa. Constructed in 1892, it’s far from
the oldest in Siracusa, but this exquisite building
was designed by none other than the well known Italian
architect Carlo Sada, whose most famous work is the
Bellini Theatre in Catania. See our History
page for more info.
Siracusa
A
unique city, Siracusa’s historical centre is a
island named Ortigia, separated from the mainland by
a small bridge and almost entirely covered by beautiful
medieval buildings. While 5 star hotels jostle for space
with converted guest houses, the Hotel Palazzo Giaraca
enjoys huge open spaces inside this stunning building
- just take take a look at the Giaraca
Photo Gallery! As you can see, the high
ceilings, seemingly endless rooms
and intricate design make this one of the most unique
3 star hotels in Siracusa.
